DARK ROAST
Three coffees exceptionally blended. Flavours of cinnamon, chocolate and spice afternotes. Low acidity.
Our Captain's Blend is for those looking for a more adventurous, dark-roasted coffee. We've never fully enjoyed roasting coffee beans too dark. In our opinion, whenever we see "Italian roast" we see that as a lazy roasters way of saying they just left the roaster on too long. We take the Captain's blend as far as we can without roasting everything to a dry husk. In here we have a 70/15/15 ratio of Brazil, Columbian and Ugandan and roast them darkly. I mean, that's not to say we stand around with witches hats on and all that - it means we roast the beans to a darker, intense colour than we normally would.
