Rich Dark Hot Chocolate Beads – 61% Cocoa

Our hot chocolate of choice — the same beads we melt down for the hot chocolate you'll find on the counter here at Cannon. Made by Cocoa Canopy using Belgian chocolate and West African cocoa, these little beads pack a proper, grown-up cocoa hit: think dark raisins, pistachio and a hint of citrus. Rich, rounded and not too sweet — this is the one for when you want a hot chocolate that actually tastes of chocolate.

Suitable for vegans. Simply melt into warm milk (or your favourite plant-based alternative) for a café-quality drink at home.


Ingredients: Cocoa Solids 61% minimum (Cocoa Mass, Cocoa Butter), Sugar, Fat-Reduced Cocoa Powder, Emulsifier (Soya Lecithin), Natural Vanilla Flavouring.

Tried Cannon after searching on maps for a local coffee roaster. First order was their Brazil Mio Peaberry medium dark and from first pull it was an obvious step up from other beans I'd been using recently (and they were not bad by any means). Will continue to work my way through their selection but imagine I will regularly return to the Peaberry.

Popped in for some beans, recieved top class welcoming service and left with brilliant coffee. Took home the Brazil Mio PB (after trying it on espresso onsite) and Uganda Mt Elgon to try at home. As soon as i got back I made myself a moka pot and yes - the Ugandan has also been roasted beautifully. Will definitely be back soon. Nice one ☝🏼
